Teachers can also use Slides to create interactive lessons through Peardeck.

Framing the Lesson Badge Requirements
The teacher must include a screenshot of their objectives or close activity being projected to their whiteboard during class. 

Examples of Framing the Lesson using Google Slides: 

  • Use Google Slides to display your objectives in your classroom
  • Use Google Slides to close your lesson with a short slides activity

Critical Writing Badge Requirements
The teacher must include a screenshot of a Google Slides that includes a student response to a Critical Writing prompt typed on the slide using the Google Slides app. Your evidence must show unique features of Google Slides. Ex- The Google Slides toolbar.

Examples of Critical Writing using Google Slides: 

  • Students can use a Slides template created by a teacher to write critically over a topic

Frequent Small Group Purposeful Talk Badge Requirements
The teacher must include an photo of themselves utilizing Google Slides to project a FSGPT prompt during class. Your evidence must show unique features of Google Slides and students actively engaging in FSGPT.  

Examples of Frequent Small Group Purposeful Talk using Google Slides: 

  • Insert your talking prompt into a Google Slides presentation while students engage in FSGPT.

Power Zone Badge Requirements
The teacher must include a photo of themselves utilizing the Google Slides app on their iPad and the Apple TV to stay in the Power Zone.

Examples of Power Zone using Google Slides: 

  • The Google Slides app frees the instructor away from the lecture position when combined with their iPad using Airplay.

Recognize & Reinforce Badge Requirements
The teacher must include a screenshot of personalized feedback they have given to a student in Google Slides that details the students growth or achievement.Your evidence must show unique features of Google Slides. Ex- The Google Slides toolbar.

Examples of Recognize & Reinforce using Google Slides: 

  • Use comments or suggesting feature to provide personalized feedback to an individual
